Petal Garden DSP | Aussies Who Love Stampin' Up! Challenge #004

Hi and thanks for visiting :)

Today marks the start of our 4th fortnightly challenge over on the Aussies Who Love Stampin' Up! Facebook Group.

Our fourth challenge #AWLSU004 is a tic tac toe challenge.

Myself and the other group admins will share our creations to start off each challenge and hopefully help kick-start and inspire your creativity.

If you live in Australia and are interested in participating in our fortnightly challenges, click here to join the group :)

I have created 2 cards for todays challenge, both of which could use 2 of the above Tic Tac Toe combinations: Ribbon, Stamp & Floral OR Patterned Paper, Stamp & Something Shiny.

Using a single 6x6 sheet of the pretty Calypso Coral/Old Olive/Pool Party floral DSP, I have created the DSP layers on both cards. I cut the larger layer first and the second card uses the off cut.

The sentiment comes from the Colourful Seasons stamp set and is stamped in Calypso Coral ink and cut out using one of the Stitched Shapes Circles. It has been mounted on a Calypso Coral scalloped circle and raised off my cards using Mini Dimensionals.

Did you notice the coloured Rhinestones on both cards?

Using my Calypso Coral Stampin' Blend marker, I coloured some clear rhinestones so they matched my colour palette. You can use any colour Stampin' Blend (or alcohol) marker to colour clear rhinestones, which means you can always have matching rhinestones for your project.

I have used different ribbon on both cards, one card uses the retiring Old Olive Mini Chevron Ribbon and the other combines the Whisper White Classic Weave with the Old Olive Sheer Ribbon.

These cards were easy and quick to put together and are a great way to create a pretty card and use some Designer Series Paper. #loveitchopit
