Ink it! Stamp it! Design Team Blog Hop | Theme: Annual Catalogue

Welcome to the Ink it! Stamp it! Design Team Blog Hop. This month we will be sharing projects using products from the new 2020-21 Annual Catalogue. The full line up below will guide you through all the projects.

I don't have any new products from the 2020-21 Annual Catalogue yet, however I do have a few products that have carried over to the new catalogue. The stamp set used for my card today I only purchased a couple of months ago and this was my first time playing with this set.

The layout for my card was inspired by the latest Inspire Create Sketch Challenge #071. I realised when putting my card together that I needed to flip their sketch, but I still think it works.

********************************

My pretty For You card was made using the Beautiful Moments stamp set that has carried over to the 2020-21 Annual Catalogue from the 2020 Mini Catalogue.

I stamped the image of the lady in the field of flowers plus the extra flower stamp in Memento Black ink on some Whisper White cardstock and coloured my image using Stampin' Blends. The Stampin' Blends used were Ivory, Bronze, Pool Party Light, Highland Heather Dark, Old Olive Dark and Daffodil Delight Light & Dark. I cut out the image using the largest rectangle from the Stitched Rectangles Dies and ran it through my Big Shot twice to make it smaller and more like a square. I then wrapped some Linen thread around my die cut square.

The For You sentiment comes from the Wildly Happy stamp set (which has also carried over to the 2020-21 Annual Catalogue) and is also stamped in Memento Black ink on to some Daffodil Delight cardstock. This was cut out using the narrow rectangle from the Stitched Rectangles Dies. I ran this one through the Big Shot a couple of times to shorten my panel.

My card base uses Old Olive cardstock, which I ran through my Big Shot using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.

Ink it! Stamp it! Design Team Blog Hop | Theme: Kids

Welcome to the Ink it! Stamp it! Design Team Blog Hop. This month we will be sharing projects inspired by our Kids theme. The full line up below will guide you through all the projects.

My project today was inspired by a couple of creative challenges. The layout was inspired by this weeks Sunday Stamps Sketch Challenge #230 and my card also fits in with the latest Casing the Catty Challenge #269 where you are using/caseing your favourite retiring bundle - I have used the Bonanza Buddies Bundle.

******************************************************

My adorable kids birthday card uses products from the retiring Birthday Bonanza Suite. I'm quite sad about this suite retiring as I find all the images in the stamp set fun and adorable - plus I just LOVE the Koala :)

The colours used in my card are Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana, Pool Party, Daffodil Delight and Mango Melody. Plus Basic Black and Whisper White.

I stamped the adorable lion from the Bonanza Buddies stamp set using Daffodil Delight and Mango Melody ink, plus Pool Party for the party hat. Each image was cut out using the co-ordinating die from the Bonanza Dies.

Using a piece of Whisper White cardstock, I stamped random present images in a pile using Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana, Pool Party and Black Memento ink. (I used my Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker to add some lines on some of my present bows). Once done, I cut them out using the largest circle from the Stitched Shapes dies.

My sentiment is stamped in Bermuda Bay on Whisper White cardstock and was cut out using the narrow Stitched Rectangle, which I partially cut twice to make it longer.

To put my card together, I adhered a strip of the Birthday Bonanza DSP along the edge of my Bermuda Bay card base, adhered my stitched circle, then my sentiment and then the lion. I added a white sequin to the top of his party hat to finish it all off. Hope you like it :)

Ink it! Stamp it! Design Team Blog Hop | Theme: Outgoing In-Colours

Welcome to the Ink it! Stamp it! Design Team Blog Hop. This month we will be sharing projects using the Outgoing In-Colours (2018-2020 In Colours). The full line up below will guide you through all the projects.

The layout of my card was inspired by the latest Try Stampin' On Tuesday's Mix Up Challenge #453. I have chosen the sketch part of this mix up challenge.

*********************************************************

As you can see I have taken the #TSOT453 sketch challenge literally :) I have pretty much re-created the sketch using the Daisy Lane Stamp Set (adding in a couple of extra flowers to make sure I got to include all the 2018-20 In Colours).

It is hard to believe that I have had the Daisy Lane stamp set for about 7 months and this is the first time I've inked it up. I don't understand why I waited so long, the subtle detail in the petals results in stunning and delicate looking flowers.

To make my card I stamped the small daisy image in Blueberry Bushel, Grapefruit Grove and Lovely Lipstick ink (twice for each flower) on some Whisper White cardstock, then punched them out using the Medium Daisy Punch.

For the flower centres, I partially stamped the same image using Pineapple Punch ink on some Whisper White cardstock scraps and then fussy cut around the centre.

I glued my flowers together using a little Multipurpose Liquid Glue - 2 stamped Daisy images and then 1 fussy cut centre per flower.

I stamped the fern leaf image using Call Me Clover ink, directly onto my Whisper White Thick cardstock base. I then arranged my flowers and glued them down (leaving 2 aside, to stick on later once I've added my sentiment).

The sentiment comes from the Peaceful Moments stamp set and is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Whisper White Stitched Circle (from the Stitched Shapes Dies). My sentiment was adhered to my card base using a little liquid glue and then my 2nd Grapefruit Grove Daisy was adhered on top. The 2nd Lovely Lipstick Daisy was added using a Mini Stampin' Dimensional.

To finish off my card, I added a couple of randomly placed Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots in Call Me Clover, Lovely Lipstick and Pineapple Punch.
