Butterfly Thank You | Aussies Who Love Stampin' Up! Challenge #053

Hi and thanks for visiting. I hope everyone is well and keeping themselves safe during this scary time.

Our latest fortnightly challenge #AWLSU053 over on the Aussies Who Love Stampin' Up! Facebook Group is a Thank You theme challenge.

Myself and the other group admins will share our creations to start off each challenge and hopefully help kick-start and inspire your creativity.

If you live in Australia and are interested in participating in our fortnightly challenges, click here to join the group :)

The colour palette for my card today was inspired by the Fab Friday #186 Colour Challenge.

*********************************************

It took quite some time for me to finally come up with the idea for my card, I sat in my craft room for what felt like hours trying to summon my creative mojo. With all that is going on in the world right now it seems like my mojo must have gone into its own self-isolation. Hopefully once school holidays start in about a week and I am not required to go in to work each day (I'm classed as an essential worker), I'm hoping my mojo will decide to come back as I'm really missing my crafting.

Anyway..... here is what I came up with:

Another relatively quick and easy card to put together (which seems to be my crafting common at the moment).

Using the splatter image from the Painted Poppies stamp set (2020 Mini Catalogue) and my inks: Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody, Pumpkin Pie & Calypso Coral (I don't have Terracotta Tile ink and Calypso Coral seemed pretty close), I stamped the splatter image onto my Whisper White card base in an ombre pattern.

The butterfly die cut is a partial cut of the large group of butterflies die from the Butterfly Beauty Dies and is cut out in Basic Black cardstock. I trimmed the adjoining butterflies from this large butterfly using my scissors and a steady hand. This was adhered to my card base using a few tiny drops of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

My Thank You sentiment comes from the stamp set included in the all-inclusive Notes of Kindness card kit. I stamped the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

Another super quick and easy card, that would work with just about any colour combination. Might have to try a few of my favourite colour combinations out.

Ink it! Stamp it! Design Team Blog Hop | Theme: Thank You

Welcome to the Ink it! Stamp it! Design Team Blog Hop. This month we will be sharing projects inspired by our Thank You theme. The full line up below will guide you through all the projects.

My card is a super quick #loveitchopit Thank You card. The simple layout was inspired by this weeks Inspire Create Challenge #065.

*************************************************

My card uses the gorgeous Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper and the Peaceful Moment stamp set, both from the 2020 Mini Catalogue.

The sentiment is stamped on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock in Rich Razzleberry ink and is adhered to my Whisper White card base with DSP layer, using some Stampin' Dimensionals.

This was a super quick but very pretty card that would show anyone how much you appreciate them and what they have done for you.

Ink it! Stamp it! Design Team Blog Hop | Theme: Birthday

Welcome to the Ink it! Stamp it! Design Team Blog Hop. This month we will be sharing projects inspired by our Birthday theme. The full line up below will guide you through all the projects.

My Birthday themed project is a cute and super quick Birthday tag.

My project uses the Bonanza Buddies Bundle (Bonanza Buddies stamp set and Bonanza dies) from the 2020 Mini Catalogue.

Using some Whisper White cardstock, I stamped and cut out using the co-ordinating dies: the Koala (Gray Granite & Black Memento), party hat (Bermuda Bay) and party hat streamer/topper (Mango Melody).

I also cut out a Whisper White stitched tag from the Bonanza dies set. I stamped the Birthday sentiment in Bermuda Bay on the tag and then adhered the Koala, hat and hat streamers using some multipurpose liquid glue.

A super fast and super cute Birthday tag.... the perfect finishing touch to any gift :)
