Hi and thanks for visiting :)

Monday marked the start of our latest fortnightly challenge over on the Aussies Who Love Stampin' Up! Facebook Group.

Our latest challenge #AWLSU047 is an inspiration challenge.

I teamed our #AWLSU047 Inspiration Challenge with the current Caseing the Catty Sunday Challenge CTC260, where we can CASE any card from the new 2020 Mini Catalogue.

The card I chose to CASE from the 2020 Mini Catalogue is this pretty card from page 4 in the Bundles section.

So for my card today I finally had my first play with the pigment sprinkles that I purchased a while ago. YAY!!! Using a piece of watercolour paper, which I spritzed with water first, and very light tapping I added a small amount of pigment sprinkles in Melon Mambo, Mango Melody and Daffodil Delight. I then spritzed the sprinkles a little more till I achieved my desired result.

(Pro Tip: even if you are being super careful, you will still get pigment ink/dye on your hands so either be prepared to have multi-coloured hands or wear gloves)

I allowed the watercolour paper to dry slowly and as flat as possible, before I ran it through my Big Shot using the largest Rectangle Stitched Die.

Using the new Sale-A-Bration Lovely Lily Pad Stamp Set (earn it free with a $90 order during Sale-A-Bration), I stamped the large lily and the leaf image in Memento Black ink on some Whisper White cardstock. I stamped the leaf image a few times. These were then coloured in using my Stampin' Blends in Mango Melody (Dark & Light) and Call Me Clover (Dark & Light).

I don't have the co-ordinating dies yet to go with the Lovely Lily Pad stamp set (I plan to get the Sale-A-Bration Lily Pad dies free on my next order), so I fussy cut out the lily and leaf images.

My sentiment comes from the Free As A Bird stamp set and is stamped in Melon Mambo ink on Whisper White cardstock. My sentiment label was cut using the label die from the Frosted Bouquet dies. I partially cut 1 side and then moved the die and cut the other side to make it smaller than the standard cut out.

Using a bit of vellum, I cut out the pretty lattice like die from the Roses Dies (part of the Limited Time Christmastime Is Here Suite). Which I layered in between my sentiment label and a Whisper White Stitched Circle die cut. The flower and leaves were arranged and adhered to the die cut circle. This stack was then adhered to the pigment sprinkle background and to finish off everything was attached to my Mango Melody card base.

Thanks so much for your support and for visiting me today :)
