Lots of Happy Card Kit | Alternate ideas | Part 1

Back in September I posted about the Lots of Happy Card Kit and shared with you 1 set of completed cards from the kit, plus some tips and tricks. Check out my blog post here.

As mentioned in my earlier post, I only made up 1 set of the cards as I wanted to see what alternate cards I could come up with on my own.

It has been crazy busy in my household since then and in my spare snippets of time, I have coloured in the remaining 3 sheets of the printed and pre-cut accents using my Stampin' Up! watercolour pencils.

I used the 4 pencils that came in the kit, plus the Watercolor Pencils Assortment (#141709) and the limited edition Watercolor Pencils Assortment 2 (that were available during the Colour Your Season promotion in August....here's to hoping these come back soon as I just love some of the colours that were available in that set).

Here is a close up of my coloured images:

A number of these images were coloured using 2 pencils, similar in colour to provide shading and/or a multi-colour / ombre look.

Now that the time consuming part of this kit has been completed (colouring), I just need to play with my coloured pieces to create some new cards.

I am planning on having a play with these pieces soon and will share with you my alternate cards that you could create with this kit.
