I adore you | Petal Garden Suite

Hello and thanks for visiting.

Todays card was inspired by the Stampin' Up! Petal Garden Suite and this weeks Paper Players Sketch Challenge #367

Here is my card:

I have used both sides of the same sheet of Petal Garden DSP for my background and banner.
(If you like this DSP, make sure you get in quick as the Petal Garden DSP is part of the Buy 3 get 1 Free DSP sale which ends on 31st October)

The flower image and sentiment both come from the Graceful Garden stamp set and are stamped in Memento Black ink. I have also stamped the background pattern from this stamp set in Pool Party ink on my piece of Pool Party cardstock, over the top of my sentiment.

My flower has been coloured using my retired Calypso Coral and Old Olive Blendabilities alcohol markers (however as of 1st November you will be able to get your hands on the new Blends alcohol markers).  Once coloured, I fussy cut the flower and adhered it to my card.

Don't forget about the inside of your card. To pretty up the inside I adhered a thin left over piece of this DSP sheet to one side.

Thanks to this gorgeous DSP this was fairly quick to put together, and is a pretty card that would suit a number of occasions. Hope you like it :)

Thanks so much for your support and for visiting me today :)
