Welcome and thank you for joining me in a special Crazy Crafters team blog hop.
We are hopping with a special guest - The very creative Stesha Bloodhart from the United States, who is also known as Stampin' Hoot.
Stesha was introduced to Stampin' Up! in 2001 and was a demonstrator until 2007 when life got in the way (as it does sometimes). Stesha joined up again when life allowed because she loved the products so much. It is great to have her back as a fellow demonstrator.
The theme of this blog hop was to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) one of Stesha's cards.
Here is the card of Stesha's that I chose to CASE:

Here is my version:
The colour combination used in my card is inspired by the Colour Theory Designer Series Paper Stack - so consists of Berry Burst, Crushed Curry, Dapper Denim, Old Olive plus Whisper White and a little Daffodil Delight.
I surprised myself and have stuck to only one stamp set for this card which is the Bunch of Blossoms photopolymer set. This is a 3 step stamp set and I have stamped both the main colour images for the petals and leaves using the same colour and ink strength (so not stamped off). The outline images and my sentiment use Black Memento ink.
For the flower centre, I started with Daffodil Delight for the first colour, then added Crushed Curry (I did try both images in Crushed Curry, but you couldn't clearly see both images). To add a little subtle sparkle to the flower centre, I've brushed on a little clear Wink of Stella.
The petals, flower centre and small leaves were cut out using the coordinating Blossom Builder punch and I fussy cut the large leaves.
I cut the banner edge for my sentiment piece using the Triple Banner punch.
The Dapper Denim background layer is a section of the ombre sheet from the Colour Theory Designer Series Paper Stack.
To finish off I've added some Berry Burst crinkled seam binding ribbon, that I have looped at each end (which you can see in the photo below).
My card has a very spring time feel to it, which I love. Hope you like it too :)
Thanks so much for your support and for visiting me today :)
