Best Wishes with Blooms & Wishes | Just Add Ink #354

Welcome and thanks for stopping by :)

Today's project is inspired by this weeks Just Add Ink #354 Challenge.

Here is my creation:

The aspects of this weeks Just Add Ink challenge, that I have used in my card are flowers and the colour purple. While the image uses a dark purple, I have gone with lighter and softer purples.

I chose the colour scheme of my card based on the colours used in the Blooms & Bliss Designer Series Paper which co-ordinates with the Blooms & Wishes stamp set. I have gone with Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry, Sweet Sugarplum & Blushing Bride.

I stamped the large flower from the Blooms & Wishes stamp set on some Whisper White and then cut it out using the largest Oval from the Stitched Shapes framelits set. I then stamped the rest of the flower images (also from Blooms & Wishes) on the die cut oval.

My sentiment which also comes from the Blooms & Wishes stamp set, is heat embossed in White on a sheet of DSP from the Blooms & Bliss DSP series. This was then adhered to my Sweet Sugarplum card base.

I cut a small strip of Blushing Bride and finished off the ends using my Triple Banner punch, which I then adhered with Snail to the back of my oval and I slightly curled the ends of the strip. The oval with strip was adhered to my card front using some dimensionals to have it stand off the card.

To finish off the card, I placed some circles from the Blushing Bride sheet of the Subtles Enamel Shapes pack, in the centre of the small Rich Razzleberry flowers.

I hope you enjoyed my card. This was a pretty quick and easy card to create and with so many lovely designs in this DSP series, it would be easy to make a number of different cards just by changing the DSP pattern used and/or selecting different matching colours.
