The Paper Players #295 | Clean-and-Simple Challenge : WILD Thing

Hello and welcome :)

Today I am sharing my entry for this weeks Clean-and-Simple Challenge #295 over on The Paper Players blog, which is a "WILD Thing" theme.

Here is my card:

To create my card I started with Whisper White cardstock for the card base, then layered a piece of Basic Black card stock on top using Snail adhesive. The top piece of Whisper White was scored using my Simply Scored scoring board at the top and bottom, equal distances from the edges. I then stamped my image and sentiment using Tuxedo Black Memento ink on to the card stock and the final score line was centred between the 2 stamped images. The score lines are subtle but help frame the images and give the card a little something extra.

The Zebra image is from the gorgeous by sadly retired Zoo Review stamp set and the sentiment is also from a retired set called Hey You.

This was a super quick & easy card to create. I like the simplicity of the card and you could change out the image and sentiment with just about anything, to suit any occasion.

Here is a list of the supplies and tools used to create this card:
Whisper White A4 Cardstock (106549)
Basic Black A4 Cardstock (121688)

Zoo Review Stamp Set (Clear - 122199)
Hey You Stamp Set (Clear - 134519)

  1. Love your CAS card Kirsten. Of course you HAD to use a zebra for this black & white card! Too cute!
