Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with special guest - Sandi Maclver

We are hopping with a special guest - The inspiring Sandi Maclver from Canada.

The theme of this blog hop was to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) one of Sandi's cards.

My creation is also my entry in this weeks Stamp Ink Paper Challenge #80 - Card Makers Choice.

Here is my version:

I have gone with the same clean and simple layout as Sandi, however I chose to use the brand new Oh So Succulent stamp set and matching Succulent framelits from the new Occasions Catalogue. (These can be purchased as a bundle at a 10% discount).

For my succulents & sentiment, I have used Bermuda Bay, Pool Party, Wild Wasabi & Sweet Sugarplum inks.

The So Succulent stamp set is a "2 step" set where you have an outline image and a matching solid image. All my succulents were stamped in the same colours, I just used a sponge dauber on the solid image stamp to remove some ink to make it a little lighter.

For my large succulent I applied a combination of Bermuda Bay & Pool Party inks using sponge daubers to the solid image stamp to make some subtle colour differences. The outline image is in Bermuda Bay. This shape was cut out using the co-ordinating framelit and then attached to my card with some dimensionals.

All done, a simple but pretty card. I hope you like it.

I have used a similar layout to Lisa, but have gone with a flower & copper theme. Hope you like it :)

This was my first time playing with my Copper Stampin' Up! products, and WOW! I have to say if you don't have any, you need to get some as soon as possible, especially the Copper embossing powder (OMG!).
