Stamp 'N Hop Blog Hop | Theme: Favourite Retiring Annual Catalogue Product

Today I am participating in the Stamp 'N Hop blog hop, where every month a number of Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the globe will be sharing projects to help inspire you in your paper crafting journey.

My name is Kirsten, and I am from Canberra, Australia. And as we Aussies like to say "G'Day" and thanks for popping by :)

This month we will be sharing projects inspired by our theme: Favourite retiring annual catalogue product.

 I always find it hard to pick just one favourite of anything Stampin' Up! as I always have a few. The products retiring from the Annual Catalogue are no different..... I have a few favourites that are sadly retiring (however they are making way for some gorgeous new products).

One set that I use often, especially for the sentiments is Blooms & Wishes, so my card features this set, along with the Delightful Daisy DSP which is also retiring.

Springtime Foils Specialty DSP | Sale-A-Bration

Hi and thanks for visiting today :)

I wanted to share a card I made recently using the stunning Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper which was a Sale-A-Bration 2nd Release free item. Were you lucky enough to get your hands on a pack of this gorgeous paper? Or perhaps a couple of packs?

Sadly Sale-A-Bration is now over and this paper is no longer available, however I still wanted to share my card with you.



My colour palette uses Pink Pirouette, Powder Pink, Old Olive and Whisper White, plus the Champagne Foil that is part of the DSP with a small appearance by Daffodil Delight.

I coloured my flowers using the Pink Pirouette, Old Olive & Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends.

My card base is Pink Pirouette to match my flowers.

To make sure my sentiment was readable, I went with Powder Pink ink and was able to include a matching Powder Pink Itty Bitty Bow. The sentiment comes from the Colourful Seasons stamp set and is cut out using an oval from the Stitched Shapes framelits.

Petal Passion DSP | Aussies Who Love Stampin' Up! Challenge #002


Hi and thanks for visiting :)

Today marks the start of our 2nd fortnightly challenge over on the Aussies Who Love Stampin' Up! Facebook Group.

Our second challenge #AWLSU002 is a theme challenge : Flower Power.

I just LOVE the Petal Passion Designer Series Paper, that is currently available from the 2018 Occasions Catalogue.

This gorgeous designer series paper comes in black and white, which allows you to use it as it is, or add your own colour.

For my flower themed card I have used my favourite sheet from this pack and added my own colour using Stampin' Blends.


I decided to match my card base to the largest flower on DSP layer, Bermuda Bay (which is also one of my favourite SU colours).

My sentiment comes from the Rose Wonder stamp set and is Silver heat embossed and cut out using the co-ordinating framelit from the Rose Garden thinlits.

For a little extra sparkle, I added some Silver Metallic thread under my sentiment.
