Flower Flair | Pals Paper Arts #322 Sketch Challenge | Case This Card #007 Challenge | Just Add Ink #333 Challenge

Winter is apparently gone here in Australia (although it is still pretty cold at times where I live) and Spring is spring here. I love it when my garden fills with bright colourful flowers and my blooming garden provided my initial inspiration for today's card.

So, not only was I inspired by Spring for this card, a few card challenges helped inspire and shape my creation as well.

This weeks Pals Paper Arts #322 Sketch Challenge, inspired my layout.....

..... and this weeks Case this Card #007 challenge inspired the stamp set / flowers used......

.... plus I added "G"reen / "G"reenery to my card to give it that little something extra, so it fits in with this weeks Just Add Ink #333 Just Add...G challenge.

Here is what I created:

The colours used in my card are Daffodil Delight, Whisper White & Emerald Envy.

Initially I was going to use the same stamp set from the Case this Card challenge - Flower Patch, but in the end, instead of stamping the flowers and then cutting them out with the co-ordinating framelits, I decided to just use the framelits and coloured cardstock.

My background splatters come from the Gorgeous Grunge set and my sentiment is from Jar of Love.

The Daffodil Delight ribbon I have used is currently on sale at 60% off, so it is only $4.20 for over 9 metres of ribbon (BARGAIN!). Grab yours now from the Clearance rack before stocks run out.

A bright cheerful card inspired by Spring. Hope you like it :)

    1. Thanks so much Chantell. I too love the splattered background, I think it really added to the statement of my card - it was just too plain without it :)
